Mariëtte Haveman (1957) is an art historian and writer. She is the editor of the art magazine Kunstschrift. Previous publications include Studio Secrets, a collection of essays on artist's studios from 1200 to now, and The Feast Behind the Curtains, a book on French Salon painting. In 2008 she published her debut novel Faye Finsbury's Photo and her second novel The Women Catcher in 2010. Her third novel, The House Behind the Willows came out in 2013.
