Donald Niedekker (1963) published the novel Like a Tiger, Like a Snail in 2014. His novels Oksana, Clouds &c. and This Is How You See Everything have also gained prize nominations. Niedekker received the Luc Bucquoye-prijs for idiosyncratic literature in 2021. His novel Strange and Perfect Account from the Permafrost (2022) has won the F. Bordewijk-prijs 2022, and has been shortlisted for the Boekenbon and Libris Literatuur Prijs.
